Representatives of the BRIT Trust, together with those from UK record companies and labels, including Universal Music UK, and BPI CEO Dr Jo Twist OBE attended ELAM’s end-of-year student showcase: Unseen: Unheard: Unplayed.

The quality of the music, film and games work presented by Year 12 students was truly inspiring and outstanding in quality, as was the diverse talent that graced the stage.

Be it music, film or gaming - their passion to succeed in their art was testament to the brilliant staff led by Principal Matt Sheldon, and to the School itself, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary.

ELAM Co-founder Will Kennard (also known as one half of the BRIT Award-winning Chase and Status) was also on hand to conclude the event and congratulate the wonderful students and staff, as he reflected on a decade of the School growing from strength to strength. He also thanked ELAM’s key partners including Universal Music UK, YouTube, and The BRIT Trust itself – which had helped to fund the construction of the state-of-the-art theatre in which the  Unseen: Unheard: Unplayed event took place.
