BRIT School Gospel Choir to Perform at Sold-Out Sound Lounge Show
The BRIT Trust is voicing its proud support of the BRIT School Gospel Choir, who will give a sold out performance at the Sound Lounge in Sutton, south London on Monday (28th) following an exciting first show there on Tuesday this week. The Trust describes the Sound Lounge as 'the perfect grassroots music venue showcasing local talent and the uplifting sound of the BRIT gospel choir."
The first night was attended by proud families of the Year 13 choir and by many members of the school's Senior Leadership Team, including Principal Stuart Worden, who said: "The Sound Lounge is such a brilliant venue. It's so BRIT, and I'm very keen for us to do more together."
Music journalist, author and venue patron Paul Sexton adds: "A year ago, we invited the 2024 choir to perform for us and it was one of our most soulful and energising shows of the year. Under the expert guidance of choirmaster Keith Bazari, this week's event was every bit as good, and we're so looking forward to the choir's final performance next Monday." The Sound Lounge is shortlisted at next month's Music Week Awards 2025 in the Grassroots Venue: Spirit Of The Scene category, supported by Music Venue Trust.
