Mastercard dedicate BRIT Awards campaign to The BRIT School
Now in its 24th year, Mastercard dedicated their BRIT Awards sponsorship campaign to the BRIT School. They gave the ultimate #ShoutOut to the next generation of creative talent about to graduate from the most unique, free to all who study there, educational establishment in the UK.
The brief was to interpret Mastercard’s Sonic DNA in a range of different media: from films, to animations, to dances to costumes. In true ‘always BRIT’ style, wonderful Gemma Cairney agreed to mentor the group chosen to deliver their work. Being a school alumnus alumni herself, Gemma supported, nurtured and mentored the group towards the big night – with the final reveal at The BRIT Awards 2022. Every tv advert break showcased their brilliant work; across the live stream to the social media campaign supporting the ultimate celebration of creativity for the music industry.
Agnes Woolrich, Head of Marketing & Communications at Mastercard UK & Ireland, said: “Over the last two decades Mastercard has proudly celebrated the successes of artists at The BRIT Awards, and through our support for the Awards we have also championed the nation’s next generation of creative talent too. So this year, we wanted to shine a light on the stars of tomorrow, and through our #ShoutOut campaign, give students at The BRIT School a platform coupled with British music’s biggest night of the year. We’re proud to be connecting creative talent to Priceless possibilities.”
The BRIT Trust is proud to be the charitable beneficiary of this unique partnership. Long may it last that the BRIT Awards and Mastercard uniquely unite and raise much needed funds for our continued mission to ‘improve lives through the power of music and creative arts’.
